Commerce chiefs launch East Kent business advice clinics
A series of monthly business advice clinics will be held in East Kent throughout the year.
The free sessions will be open to enterprises of all sizes that would like the opportunity to discuss any aspect of their business with commercial specialists.
The consultations are being offered by the Dover and Thanet and East Kent Chambers of Commerce.
Chamber manager Sylvia Fagg said: "The clinics will be staffed by successful businessmen and women who understand what is needed to beat the competition."
Chief executive of both Chambers David Foley added: "We expect to provide professional assistance to both start-up companies looking to locate in East Kent and to established firms wanting to increase their sales."
Three Kent MPs have all accepted invitations to join the Chambers as Presidents.
Dover and Deal representative Charlie Elphicke said he hoped to "boost revenue and business opportunities" in his role on the Dover Chamber while South Thanet and Sandwich's Laura Sandys and North Thanet's Roger Gale will act as co-Presidents on the Thanet and East Kent Chamber.
Foley added: "The Chamber presidency is a non-political, honorary position requiring great skill in looking after the commercial interests of local companies and their workforce as well as encouraging inward investors.
"We are thrilled that the East Kent coastal business community will have such a top team batting for us here and at Westminster."
