Kent Channel Chamber of Commerce supports local businesses
Businesses in east Kent have the opportunity to join forces and help each other prosper as the local chamber of commerce broadens its influence and stretches out its offers of assistance.
The Kent Channel Chamber of Commerce (formerly Channel Chamber) is now set to be part of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) network. Members say this will enable the group to add its voice to other chambers across the UK when talking to the Government as well as tap into expertise nationwide.
And its first major initiative will focus on helping start-up businesses with a programme of added-value services and benefits.
Peter Hobbs, chief executive, said: “As part of a powerful and influential network that works on behalf of more than 100,000 UK business, Kent Channel Chamber offers a range of free benefits headed up by a 24/7 advice line and legal insurance cover. There are some big cost-savings too and plenty of low-cost marketing opportunities to suit most types of businesses based in east Kent.
“Talk to any chamber member and you’ll find they also enjoy meeting prospective clients through our popular networking events and being kept up to date with news and information via our weekly E- bulletin and regular printed newsletters.
“Kent Channel Chamber provides what local businesses need – all for less than £4 per week. It could be the best investment you make all year.”
Business Week Live to be held at the Dover Cruise Terminal on Wednesday October 26 is an opportunity to meet the team.
