What are transport links like in East Kent?
Kent is positioned between London and continental Europe. East Kent is home to Manston, Kent's International Airport, London Ashford Airport and the famous Port of Dover as well as the Port of Ramsgate. The Eurotunnel shuttles take 35 minutes from Folkestone to Calais, and Eurostar trains, from nearby Ashford International, take around one hour to Lille, 89 minutes to Brussels and 112 minutes to Paris.
